How we’re supporting our clients as they prepare to re-open
We’re busy implementing the following measures in order to allow visitors to park safely once lockdown restrictions are lifted.
Contactless payment options
We’re working with our Clients to ensure that contactless payment options are available across all sites. Pay-by-phone/app and on-line payments allow visitors to pay for parking up to midnight of the day they visit.
This alleviates the need to touch high contact equipment, stand in close proximity to others while making parking payments and removes the pressure to organise payment while on-site. We’re working to bring drivers closer to an entirely touchless, seamless parking experience.
Signage and markers
We’ve developed new signage guidance to ensure that the parking experience is simple and easy to understand, with additional recommendations to meet social distancing regulations. Please contact hello@groupnexus.co.uk for more information.
And for those who choose to use the payment machines, we’ve designed floor stickers that demonstrate where visitors should stand to ensure a safe 2 metre distance between visitors.
On-site staff
We’ve mobilised increased levels of on-site staff in order to provide additional support to visitors, and to provide enhanced cleaning services.
Our on-site staff can support social distancing measures, reassure visitors from the moment they arrive and provide deep cleaning services including the payment machines.
Our Facilities Management (FM) team offer a full range of services, including: Deep cleaning, Security, CCTV Monitoring, Landscaping, Defect Reporting and Waste Disposal.
We have hundreds of on-site and FM staff available nationally, all trained to ensure they operate according to social distancing and all other regulations.
Customer insights and messaging
Throughout this period we’ve been supporting our clients with ANPR-fuelled visitor reports, providing hourly trends and invaluable information on increasing visitor figures. This data is invaluable for their reopening plans.
We’re also supporting our clients with new initiatives such as direct customer messaging.
This enables clients to message customers as they arrive on site, with social distancing messages or special offers.
