The GroupNexus Charitable Foundation is the charitable arm of GroupNexus.

The Foundation is committed to making a real difference in the communities we serve.
We are a grant-making foundation focused on funding impactful projects that produce tangible results and lasting benefits.   

Grants of £500–£2,500 are available for eligible projects. To apply, your project must be sponsored by a GroupNexus employee, who will act as your internal champion. You must name this person in your application.

This pillar focuses on directly benefiting the communities where GroupNexus operates. It involves providing grants and support to initiatives across a broad spectrum, including environmental sustainability, education, social welfare, and the arts. Crucially, it empowers staff to identify and champion projects that resonate within their own local areas and with GroupNexus clients.

Healthcare & Children's Wellbeing

(Leveraging Our NHS Partnerships)

Building upon GroupNexus’s strong partnerships and extensive work within the NHS sector, this pillar is dedicated to giving back to the healthcare community. Focus on supporting hospitals and the NHS, with a particular emphasis on improving the experience and wellbeing of children in hospital settings. It also encourages and facilitates volunteer initiatives within the healthcare sector, directly utilising our established client relationships to identify areas of need and deliver meaningful support.

Causes we've supported

The Sherriff Centre

We’re proud to partner with The Sherriff Centre, supporting their vital work in the local community. Our team has taken part in volunteering days, helping to collect and organise food bank supplies and even building a new shed to store them. We’ve also had the pleasure of hosting events at their beautiful venue. We look forward to continuing this meaningful relationship.

Oi Va Voi Band

As part of our commitment to the arts, we were proud to support Oi Va Voi with funding for the recording of their fourth studio album. The arts community was hit hard during the Covid pandemic, and we were glad to offer our support during a time when it was most needed.

Chai Cancer Care

We were honoured to sponsor the social media element of Chai Cancer Care’s annual fundraising campaign, helping them raise awareness and vital funds. Chai’s work supporting individuals and families affected by cancer in our community is truly invaluable.

This Won’t End Me

We supported a cause close to Nicole Ribeiro De Morais. The charity will be running specialist workshops to address Women’s health issues in an open and supportive environment.

Monken Hadley Community Hall Rebuild Project

We’re supporting Yvette Yates’ application – whereby we’ll be providing the funding and a supplier for the implementation of disabled bays at this refurbished community centre in Barnet.

Stand against violence

Funding was awarded to ‘Stand against violence’ following an application from Dan Locke. This donation funded a workshop session to educate young people about the consequences of violent behaviour.

Milly's Smile Bags

We funded Katherine Collins’ application for Milly’s Smile bags – which are carefully curated to support kids in hospital.

Wolverine Cheerleader squad outfits

We supported Darren Brooks’ application for new uniforms for the Wolverine Cheerleaders upcoming US competition.

Alyth's Monday Club

And funding was granted following Jonah Gubbay’s application for a local club providing social opportunities for adults with learning and other disabilities.

Livingstone Primary School Library

Andy Cooper successfully requested funding for a new school library for a struggling inner-city school.

Under-14s football team kits

We’ve agreed to fund new kits for Telford Town Football Club Under 14’s – thanks to an application from Shane Ryder.

Tiny Lives Appeal (York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity)

We supported David Walsh’s application for a height-adjustable cot for the refurbished Neonatal Unit.

The Brompton Fountain

We supported Lena Quinn’s family’s 5k Challenge on behalf of the Brompton Foundation who supported her nephew during open heart surgery.

Overseal Gala Committee (Overload Music Festival)

We supported Nigel Mellor’s request for event sponsorship for the Overload Music Festival, which helped boost his son’s confidence and musical success.

The Thomas Ball Children’s Cancer Fund

We Funded a Christmas Panto trip for the Children supported by this charity. The charity is run by Hannah Murray’s grandparents.
