Darren joined GroupNexus in 2005 as an Operations Manager and rapidly expanded a large portfolio of sites delivering parking and security services across the South. Darren was instrumental in working with business development to establish the company’s first Facilities Management contract and growing this side of the business into what is now an integrated group product.

Darren has a comprehensive background in the logistics industry, having served for 22 years with the Logistics Corp within the HM Armed Forces.  His expertise includes health and safety legislation, transport policy, training and assessment of personal and operational deployment in high pressure environments.

Darren is currently Head of Quality Assurance and Standards and manages a far reaching portfolio of responsibilities, including accreditation to ISO 9001 2015 Quality Management , ISO 14001 2015 Environmental Management, Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme, British Parking Association Approved Operator Scheme and Safe Contractor, to mention a few.

Darren has introduced and controls a robust management and training system, to ensure the services provided operationally deliver an outstanding customer and client experience and regularly carries out internal audits to confirm the standards are maintained throughout the services the group provide.
