Security and Alerting

Security isn’t very exhilarating, but it is essential - not only for our clients, but also their customers. Car parks need to be safe and secure, for both people and vehicles.

GroupNexus is an SIA Approved Contractor for the provision of Security Guarding and CCTV services. Many of our staff are SIA licensed and all our staff receive training to NVQ standards and where required, undertake Security Industry Training Organisation (SITO) courses.

We pride ourselves on our track record when it comes to safety and security, reducing levels of crime in our car parks. We can implement integrated internal and external security systems and security guarding.

The use of technology such as ANPR, CCTV and other technology systems are regularly used to enhance security in your car parks keeping both you and your visiting motorists safe.

Our Alerting System is based around our ANPR system allowing VOI (vehicles of interest) to be added to a list if, for example, they are suspected of a crime – an email alert, with a picture of the vehicle, is sent to anyone who has been entered onto the list to receive the alert – configurable by site/sites or by estate.

We support the Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme run by the British Parking Association and have gained this accreditation for a number of our clients.
